The Taxman when we first acquired him in 2017
Welcome to Wool & Withers Farm owned by Livia and Joe Brine since 2006. We are nestled in the heart of Nashoba Valley conveniently located in Littleton , MA.  Our small little gentleman's farm is located right in the center of town, surrounded by acres of conservation yet access to major highways and entertainment. We were drawn to our little town because of the support of conservation and local farming. Littleton is also known for their love of equestrian activities and livestock.
We proudly own and raise our own purebred Icelandic sheep and Gypsy horses. Both of these breeds are very special and come from generations of careful selection to build the best desired qualities and representatives of the breed.   My husband and I care deeply about maintaining these qualities thus our motto is "Quality - Not quantity".
You will find Wool & Withers Gypsy Horses at numerous events and shows in the New England area. You will see us at Equine Affaire In West Springfield every November.  My husband and I are also among a group of friends that founded the New England Gypsy Horse Club (NEGHC) and I currently stand as president of that non profit organization, it was established in 2016 to improve the visibility of Gypsy horses in New England area. We hold an annual Gypsy and Open Horse show and have now added a second show (find us on Facebook New England Gypsy Horse Club) at Cobleskill fairgounds NY this year dates are in may and october 2024.  We do presently have some lovely Icelandic sheep for sale, our 2021 Gypsy colt was sold , we do not have any foals due this spring but we are expecting 2 foals 2025- so follow us on FB.  We invest alot of time and love into our animals , they are family to us, so if you are interested in one of our 4 legged friend from our sales page please do not be offended if we ask questions as we do want to make sure its a good fit.  We also would like to maintain a relationship, you will become part of our family and we hope to follow their progress as well as yours.

Great breeders are great educators, they are not necessarily looking to get you to buy one of their stock but seek to find you what you are looking for and to assist you in the process. Whether you purchase from their farm or not, they should provide you with the tools for self education so that you can develop an "eye" for what is correct , show you what is not "correct" and direct you to places where you can get the knowledge you need to find the best horse (or sheep for that matter)  that still maintains the integrity of the breed to its fullest but will be the perfect match for your needs and skill set.  Please never hesitate to send us an email, call, text or message with any questions as we are here to assist you and guide you.
